Here’s what’s up with angey price photography-
I have been enjoying a wonderful winter break from shooting to enjoy my family, work on my home, and gear up for a wonderful season of spring sessions. I am starting to book for the spring and getting excited about it! Though I haven’t been shooting much, I have been able to focus on some business related things that are difficult to keep up with during the busy seasons – updating website, updating packages and information, furthering education, equipment care, etc. This “break” has been so rewarding that I’ve decided that part of every winter and summer (“off seasons” for portraits anyway) will be a dedicated break from shooting portrait sessions to focus on these types of business related things. It has also been great to take a breather and get geared up and excited for the season to come. I’m even getting excited about fall sessions because I’ve been able to do some creative thinking and planning (but more on that later!)
There’s always exceptions though! Babies don’t care if it’s off season! My sweet friends, the Weathers, had their 2nd baby boy recently, so I got to capture some of his cuteness! You’ll see more soon, but here’s a little peak of baby Will- yes, he is PRECIOUS!!!!
Otherwise, this is pretty much what I’ve been up to

Skype Party!!! This was so much fun! Since our families couldn’t be here for Cullen’s birthday, we had a skype party with them! Wesley’s parents, my parents, and my two sisters, Ryleigh and Molly, came for the party!
singing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY”, showing cards, and being crazy!

enough of that, Cullen’s ready for his cup cake!
Mmmmmmmmm!

We love you so much, sweet Cullen!!! Not just mommy and daddy- your grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and great grandmas love you soooooooooooo much!

On Jan. 15 my little boy, Cullen Asher, turned 1! I can hardly believe that it has been a year! I feel like I blinked and suddenly went from having a newborn to having a 1 year old- I now realize how true it is when people say it goes so fast! It has been a year full of so much love and joy. Cullen has been such a wonderful blessing to our lives! We are continually thanking God for him! He is so much fun, full of energy and personality! Here are a few of this 1 year old’s favorite things- he loves to crawl around and explore (he is a fast mover), he especially likes to crawl down the hallway pushing something w/ wheels (bunny, car, etc). He loves to play w/ mommy and daddy- especially loves to be chased, and to play peek-a-boo/hide and seek, and to climb up and ride on daddy’s back. Doggie (seen in pics below), is probably his most favorite thing (Finrick the frog is a close 2nd)! He loves all doggies, especially real ones! He likes to bark (one of the very few things he can do on command) anytime he sees/hears a doggie or one is mentioned. His really likes to play w/ his stacking cups (from Ikea;) ). Yo Gabba Gabba is his favorite show. He really likes to eat (can you tell?), especially yogurt and baby food cheese puffs. Unfortunately for me, he really likes to drop things- especially food, when he’s in his highchair. He likes to clap his hands and wave ‘bye bye’. He loves to “talk” and even says “yay!” These are just a few things that make him such a fun and special boy, things that we want to always remember even though time will continue to fly!
We celebrated his birthday w/ a robot party and some of our special friends…. and the coolest robot cake ever (the Peterson’s rock!)!

CAKE TIME!
hm… not sure… why is the icing hard? (fondant is interesting stuff!)
that’s more like it! (I think that’s the robot’s eye
)

We were blessed to share this day with dear friends, and lots of sweet kids!
I’m so thankful Casey, Evie, and Kristin were in town, the Eicks are home!, and many of our dearest friends joined us. Thank you Casey for taking pics for me (many of pics in this post) and making the coolest robot painting! Thank you Petersons for the raddest robot cake EVER, which didn’t just look good, it tasted amazing!!! Thank you Eicks for the yummy pretzels and marshmallows!
We wish our families could have been here. But part two of the birthday fun is coming next (though it actually took place before part 1)- skype party w/grandparents + aunts!!- stay tuned, this one gets messy!

She was good friends with his sister and his parents, but not him. Then, a year ago, his sister orchestrated them both being “in the same place at the same time”! Well that led to group dates, which led to long phone conversations, which led to one on one dates… which all led to Sarah and Ronnie falling deeply in love! And they are now engaged to be married! Sarah told me, “I remember thinking ‘if he is as wonderful in person alone as he is over the phone, I am going to marry this guy.’ & he was even more wonderful in person! …We both knew immediately that this was right, we feel incredibly blessed that God has chosen us for each other. His plans are far better than anything we ever could have planned for ourselves!” They love spending time together and with family and friends. They love being outdoors; both love to go hunting and fishing, being outside, and traveling. She loves to shop and make him come with her
Meet Sarah + Ronnie-

Sarah and Ronnie, it was SO wonderful to meet you and work w/ you!! I’m so excited for you two! I can’t wait for 7-7 to get to photograph you again w/ Kristin Shyla!! Rhonda, thanks so much for connecting us! I can’t wait to see you and your family again too!
